$NKE down another -6% AH on disappointing earnings... if we go back 3 years and see where the sell side estimates were for FY2027 which is this current reporting year. In October 2023... the sell side was looking for $65.9B of revenues and $5.58 of eps in FY2027 Now fast forward to today and the sell side is at $45.3B of revs and $1.67 of eps... The problem is that $NKE just cut their FY2027 eps guidance to $1.15 to $1.35 which means over the past 3 years with the stock down -62%, eps is actually down -78% Over the long term the #1 factor of stock performance is EPS growth or lack thereof. There's a good chance that $NKE can't bottom until their EPS bottoms as well.
