Taiwan Semi is like the Scottie Pippen of semis. No one seems to love it as their top pick. But, everyone acknowledges it is a mission critical player with a moat, priced well. Take a look at the earnings of $TSM (blue) vs. share price (black) and what typically happens after these periods. Then take a look at the earnings growth expectations. TSM is one of the few companies out there that can set prices, and sets the pace. It is the 'OG' bottleneck and meets the standard of a quality asset, moat, priced well, and linked to secular trends.
