$KTOS just demonstrated something most people don't realize is possible yet. A missionized Marine Corps Valkyrie launched from a zero length launcher, no runway needed, then handed control from Kratos ground systems to a Marine operator flying it beyond line of sight. It flew alongside multiple F-35s and an F/A-18, hit its electronic warfare objectives, and returned autonomously. That's an unmanned jet operating as part of a manned strike package, controlled from over the horizon.
