My skepticism around peptides: Simply put: where is the robust clinical trial data proving their efficacy? And more importantly, if they are so groundbreaking, the question we should be asking is: WHY is money being poured into marketing INSTEAD of into running robust clinical trials that prove their usefulness? No amount of marketing spend will ever be able to break peptides beyond niche trend and into mass market - only positive phase 3 readouts can do that. The lack of focus on trials, paired with heavy emphasis on anecdotal evidence + marketing, is in itself the main red flag for me 🚩 The way I see it, $HIMS / other related companies can certainly be successful. But without trial data, HIMS success will NOT be coming from peptides 🫣 I would love thoughtful counter responses fr
