$GEV now holds $176B in RPO (+37% YoY) with 116 GW of gas turbine backlog and reservations effectively filling capacity through 2027. Management says the power industry is only in the “early stages of a multi-decade growth opportunity,” while customers paying years in advance to secure scarce manufacturing slots highlights GEV’s pricing power. That backlog shows AI data centers cannot wait for the grid with gas turbines offering one of the fastest paths to dispatchable power in a market served by only three global suppliers.
