$NKE is example number 10,217 of why apparel brands should almost always be in the too hard pile. Changes in consumer taste & preferences are hard to model. They change on a whim. Missteps in evolving with the times can be the beginning of the end… even for the hottest & most beloved companies. CC $LULU. A new shirt is among the easiest things to cut first. Structurally growing behind the brand awareness & store runways is extremely difficult. Too hard. Better places for our time & money, in my opinion.
