$IREN Speculation: Implications for Christopher Sailer Hire Christopher Sailer oversaw AWS x Anthropic and AWS x OpenAI partnerships. Sailer is a very significant hire for potential IREN x Anthropic Partnership. However, hiring today points to around August-Oct IREN x Anthropic deal instead of June. Beneficiary is that IREN would not hire this person unless Anthropic deal was serious. Timeline is most likely that Nvidia orchestrated this to balance out Anthropic's recent partnership with Google TPU and Amazon Trainium. With CRWV signing Anthropic for sometime 2027 and NBIS H1 2027 capacity signed to Meta, Nvidia needed someone for Anthropic sooner.
