$AXTI is a Chinese-based merchant supplier of critical Indium Phosphide capacity. Even if they secure the export permits they need, it would be irresponsible for U.S. companies to be dependent on the $AXTI supply chain. U.S. companies are going to insource and find alternatives… thus, $AXTI’s business upside is capped, yet the stock is priced as if they just patented sliced bread.
