$SPCX 7-8GW New Capacity in 2027 I'm a believer in $SPCX to add 7-8GW of GPU Compute in 2027 and hit their 10GW targets. I've always said they weren't doing SpaceDCs in 2027 and lo and behold, it's now announced they are doing 7-8GW capacity of all terrestrial DCs. 1. For all companies except SpaceX, BTM is more expensive. SpaceX can make many components from transformers to switch yards to liquid cooling components much cheaper. 2. Emissionss: the statement that emissions go through the roof is not accurate. Natural Gas Turbines actually powers alot of the grid. It doesn't matter if you add it on the grid or BTM, it's the same amount of pollution. If you build in NJ where there's no existing industrial pollution then sure.
