Their Organ Care System keeps a liver producing bile or a heart actually beating on the way to the operating room, which extends the viable window, lets surgeons assess function before implanting, and turns organs that would have been discarded into usable transplants. The clinical evidence is what makes it work. Their liver trial ran 300 patients across 20 US centers. Early allograft dysfunction dropped from 30.5% on ice to 17.3% on the machine. Ischemic biliary complications at twelve months fell from 9.9% to 2.6%.
