our industry checks suggest Monolithic Power Systems now holds around 70% of the voltage-regulator sockets on NVIDIA's newest GPU generation. that number stopped me. it’s a company most investors have never heard of, sitting at one of the final stages between grid power and the GPU die. Modern AI GPUs operate below one volt while drawing more than a kilowatt, meaning well over a thousand amps must be delivered with tight voltage regulation. Get that wrong and the chip fails Analog Devices ($ADI) offers another datapoint. Fiscal Q2 data center revenue grew >90% YoY and now represents more than 3/4 of its Communications business. The company is benefiting because every new AI rack requires more power management and analog content as rack power moves from 100s of kW toward MW-scale systems.
